After the untimely death of George Michael at the end of last year, it came to light that Michael had amassed a huge amount of unreleased work, some of which is due to be released in the near future. But now we have an absolute gem of a reworking of an old b-side of his, thanks to Nile Rodgers.
The track 'Fantasy' was originally released back in 1990, but thanks to some tweaking and catchy licks from the Chic guitarist, has been reinvented and still manages to capture that same George Michael magic.
The new version of 'Fantasy' will appear on the upcoming compilation release 'Listen Without Prejudice/MTV Unplugged', due out on the 20th October. Have a listen to it in the player below.
