Noah & The Whale split up

While it may come across as some harsh April Fool's joke, Noah & The Whale have in fact decided to split up.

The band posted the following message on their Facebook page earlier today:

Dear Friends
Noah and the Whale have decided to call it a day.
We have had an incredible eight years together and are immensely grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way.
There are too many people to mention in this short message but we would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to all of our amazing fans, who have supported us so magnificently over the years and made everything possible.
Love,
NATW

The message then ends with a list of each member's personal websites, citing the possibility of solo projects amongst each of them. Matt Owens and Fred Abbott have both announced solo albums, ‘Songs For An Empty Room’ and ‘Serious Poke’, while frontman Charlie Fink has also been posting updates on his own material over the last few weeks.
