London/Berlin experimental noise-rock collective BLOKE return with a powerful new single that challenges the invisible economic forces shaping our daily lives. More than a year after their previous release 'Chewed Up', the band led by German artist Jakob Buraczewski offers a raw, introspective exploration of capitalism's subtle conditioning.
The new track, 'Money Says', transforms the childhood game of "Simon Says" into a biting social commentary. Buraczewski explains the concept:
“This subtle agreement can feel like conditioning, offering a poignant commentary on our interactions. The melody features a persistent feedback tone and guitar strums that punctuate the social narrative”
Musically, the track continues BLOKE's experimental approach, blending psychedelic rock with Krautrock-inspired soundscapes. It promises to be a bold statement from a band unafraid to challenge conventional musical and social boundaries.
