Sampa the Great continues her extraordinary artistic evolution with ‘Location’, a fierce new single that confronts the inequalities facing African musicians while offering another glimpse of her forthcoming third album 'Nu Zamrock'.
Produced by Grammy-winning Cadenza, the track sees the acclaimed rapper challenging an industry that increasingly embraces African sounds without always providing equivalent opportunities for the artists responsible for creating them.
Arriving as the third release from her upcoming record, ‘Location’ reinforces Sampa's reputation for combining uncompromising social commentary with adventurous musical expression.
Set for release on the 30th October via Loma Vista Recordings, 'Nu Zamrock' draws inspiration from Zambia's revolutionary seventies rock movement, blending its psychedelic spirit with contemporary hip-hop and soul.
