Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory unveil new single 'Southern Life (What It Must Be Like)'

With their eagerly-awaited debut album landing early next year, Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory have now dropped the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Southern Life (What It Must Be Like)' comes accompanied by a stunning new video, directed by Ethan Dawes, and follows on from the previously shared lead track 'Afterlife' in previewing their self-titled LP, which is out on the 7th February via Jagjaguwar.

Speaking about the new offering, Van Etten describes it as “trying to understand people with very different perspectives and backgrounds, while also trying to be compassionate towards our past, present, and future selves.”
