Despite only delivering their stunning new album 'The Center Won't Hold' in August, Sleater-Kinney have already returned to unveil a brand new single you won't find on their latest full-length.
The new single 'ANIMAL' will be released as a standalone single through Mom + Pop Records, and acts as the perfect follow-up to the sonic sound of their latest studio record.
Speaking about their new offering, the band's Corin Tucker said, "ANIMAL is a song about rebellion, retaliation and rage. It is a song about letting go of all politeness and filters and letting the ‘animal’ side speak. The vocals for this song were recorded in St. Vincent’s home studio, a perfect place to unleash a voice like this."
