In the middle of last year, Wild Beasts announced that they would be splitting up. As devastating as the news was, especially after how many incredible records the band managed to release, they did also make it clear that we would be getting one more treat from them before they go. And this is it, 'Last Night All My Dreams Came True', a live-album-meets-best-of collection of tracks that give us a retrospective look at their best work to date.

The band managed to release five albums in their decade-long career and the beauty of rerecording some of their highlights all at once means we get to hear their best work without worrying about a mismatch of production. The result is a highly-engaging compilation of incredible versions of their classic material, all bundled together in one fantastic homage to their extensive career that gives them one hell of a send off for their fans.

As farewell records go, 'Last Night All My Dreams Came True' does really give us the best possible memories of what this band achieved in their tenure. Tender and poignant music that truly brings out your warmest side.
