Washington DC-based artist LTMAA makes a breathtaking return to music with 'Pain of Us', a deeply atmospheric debut solo single that transforms personal reflection and global unrest into an extraordinary exploration of human vulnerability.
The new track introduces a captivating fusion of trip-hop, alt-R&B and experimental soul, drawing inspiration from the evocative soundscapes of Portishead, Massive Attack and FKA Twigs. Built around hypnotic downtempo rhythms, haunting vocal melodies and beautifully textured instrumentation, 'Pain of Us' captures an overwhelming sense of emotional fragility while retaining an underlying glimmer of hope.
Produced by Omar Waqar and Eddie Grey, the recording features Waqar's expressive electric sitar alongside Grey's resonant bass guitar, creating a wonderfully immersive arrangement.
Serving as the introduction to a forthcoming five-track EP, 'Pain of Us' establishes LTMAA as a compelling new voice in atmospheric alternative music.
