BANKS shares new single 'Candy'

BANKS returns with 'Candy', a raw and haunting new single taken from the deluxe edition of her latest album 'Off With Her Head', out now via ADA Worldwide. Blending dreamy textures with unflinching lyricism, 'Candy' finds the acclaimed artist unpacking her experience with depression and the conflicted relationship she’s had with antidepressants. “It made me angry,” BANKS shares. “This song holds anger, blame, shame, love, and acceptance. It’s deeply personal.”

The track’s delicate, childlike tones contrast sharply with its heavy themes, exploring moments of emotional paralysis, familial tension, and the pressure to “fix” mental health with quick solutions. “Like the candy a child needs to stop crying,” she reflects.

'Candy' joins five acoustic tracks and recent singles, including 'I Hate Your Ex-Girlfriend' (feat. Doechii), 'Love Is Unkind', and 'Best Friends', on the deluxe version of 'Off With Her Head', a bold evolution in BANKS’ ever-expanding world.
