Bright Eyes announce reformation

After a long nine-year hiatus, Bright Eyes original members Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott have now regrouped to announce new material and international dates in 2020.

Since the release of their last LP 'The People’s Key' in 2011, the band released a remastered box set collection of their work in 2016, and hinted last year that they had been back in the studio working on new material. Since then, the band have signed a deal with the coveted indie label Dead Oceans to release their next batch of songs.

Speaking about adding the band to the roster, Dead Oceans co-founder Phil Waldorf said, “Bright Eyes is not just a formative artist for me personally, but for countless people who work at Dead Oceans. To get to work with a band that is part of our own origin stories in falling in love with music is the rarest of privileges. We are thrilled to be part of another great chapter in Bright Eyes enduring legacy.”
