Since their inception in the early 2000s, The Coral have been one of those bands that seems to have penetrated almost every part of the new music industry. Whether they are releasing great records on their own or adding their expertise to other newcomers looking to break through, the band have consistently kept their head above board since their debut album. And now as they look to release their seventh studio album, the Liverpool-based outfit seem to have found their happy middle as they unveil a series of more comfortable-sounding singles.

Their career so far has been splattered with great tracks that unusually overshadow the rest of their material, usually leading to full-lengths that lack that complete level of consistency and something falter under the weight of their hit records. But 'Move Through The Dawn' never really looks to pull away from its initial direction, making for one of their more cohesive and succinct records to date. The general tone and flow of this release is one that aims to be more inviting than much of what we've heard from them lately, but also manages to keeps the energy high throughout.

This isn't one of those Coral albums that looks to grab your attention with outlandish fanfare, but one that is quietly confident in its own songwriting, making for a far more captivating listen. This is definitely their most engaging album in years and manages to reignite a lot of excitement around this band.
