FKA Twigs joins Bestival line-up

Joining the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Duran Duran, Tame Impala, The Jacksons, Annie Mac, Jungle, Jurassic 5 and many more at Bestival this year will be the undeniably engaging FKA Twigs.

Topping a number of Albums Of The Year lists in 2014 with her debut record 'LP1', the frontwoman has become one of the most talked about new artists of the moment and will no doubt become a huge addition to this year's festivities.

Festival organiser Rob da Bank says: “I picked up a white label record by an artist called twigs in 2012 and started playing it on my Radio 1 show, with no idea who or what was creating this fantastic sound… Three years on and it’s exciting to see FKA twigs breaking through, still forging such a leftfield sound and winning! We can’t wait to welcome her to Bestival’s Summer of Love 2015… and I’ve still got that white label!”

Bestival is set to take place on the Isle Of Wight from 10th-13th September. Visit http://www.bestival.net for more info.
