The Futureheads return with new single 'Jekyll'

Having gone completely silent after the release of their 2012 acoustic album 'Rant', The Futureheads are back to their tenacious best with the release of a brand new single.

The new track 'Jekyll' is their first piece of new material in seven years, and is set to appear on a new studio full-length from the group, which is due to arrive at the end of August.

Speaking about their return, frontman Barry Hyde described the new track as “a violent song about my childhood disgust at the grinning, jeering faces of certain fellow primary school students (even the nice ones) whenever there was a playground fight. It left a scar in my psyche that I just can’t shake. A song for the animal part of us all. With love from The Futureheads.”
