Gurriers unveil new single 'Top Of The Bill'

With their eagerly-awaited debut album landing next month, Gurriers have now dropped the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Top Of The Bill' comes accompanied by a stunning new video, directed by Adam Hart, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Des Goblin', 'Close Call' and 'Approachable' in previewing their new LP 'Come And See', which is out on the 13th September via No Filter.

Speaking about the new offering, singer Dan Hoff said, "It's a distorted love story, a warning to myself of a person I could have been."

While director Adam Hart added on the visuals, “It's a one shot film. I think the buzzword for the band was Twin Peaks as the lads are huge fans, but apart from that there are a few Shane Meadows tropes in there too, showing small vignettes of characters that populate the world of the bar. There’s a lot of moving parts in the video so I was worried we’d miss a character, or piece of action, or we’d spend all day and have 50 takes before we got what we wanted. I think we only shot 12 takes in total, which is a credit to the crew and actors who played a blinder.”
