Ibibio Sound Machine announce 'The Black Notes EP'

Fresh off the back of their highly-praised studio album 'Pull The Rope' from earlier this year, Ibibio Sound Machine have now announced their plans for a new EP, arriving next month.

The new four-track collection 'The Black Notes EP' is behind previewed by its vibrant title-track, and is set to be released on the 4th September.

Speaking about the new offering, they said, “Moments of joy and feeling grateful for the sun on your face. Black Notes & Honey Bee are two sides of a coin - soulful dance and an electronic take on highlife for 2024. Captain Planet’s funky Afro house remix take on Pull the rope and Vanguard’s acid tinged version of Got to Be who u are round out the selection.”
