Mint Julep announce new album 'In a Deep & Dreamless Sleep'

Following on from the release of their brilliant 'Stray Fantasies' LP last year, Mint Julep have now returned to announce the details behind their next studio album, arriving in the coming months.

The new full-length 'In a Deep & Dreamless Sleep' is being previewed by the new lead single 'Black Maps', and is set to be released on the 19th March through Western Vinyl.

Speaking about the new collection, the band's Keith Kenniff said, “Our previous material tended to be structured largely in a verse/chorus setting, but these songs are more free flowing and through-composed with a focus on mood and texture. A lot of the songs are more stream-of-consciousness than premeditated; we went with first ideas and let them guide the composition rather than planning a definitive road map-- which hopefully lends itself to creating a specific and unique emotional connection.”
