The Prodigy frontman Keith Flint found dead, aged 49

The Prodigy frontman Keith Flint has been found dead in his home, aged 49.

Reports of his death are brief, but according to the BBC's report, Police were called due to "concerns for the welfare of a man” at approximately 8am this morning (4th March). “Sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene", although “the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Keith Flint had been with The Prodigy since the band's earliest incarnation. Originally hired as a dancer for the band's live shows, he was upgraded to frontman for the group's third record 'The Fat Of The Land', and recorded the vocals for their first #1 single 'Firestarter'. The Prodigy's last album 'No Tourists' was released last year.
