White Lies return with new single 'Nothing On Me'

Acclaimed London band White Lies have unveiled their thrilling new single 'Nothing On Me' via Play It Again Sam, marking their first release since 2022’s 'As I Try Not To Fall Apart'.

Bursting with urgency and creative abandon, 'Nothing On Me' fuses ‘70s prog-rock textures with a relentless motorik rhythm and unsettling guitar hooks. Drawing inspiration from icons like Genesis and Steve Hillage, the band explores themes of human disconnect and emotional overload through warped melodies and experimental structures.

Recorded live at The Church Studios with producer Riley MacIntyre (Ezra Collective, Arlo Parks) and mixed by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beach House), the track finds the band embracing a rawer, freer sound.

“This track welcomes you into the collaborative present mind of White Lies,” the band says. “It’s reckless, unhinged… a rebirth, and an introduction.”

With Seth Evans (ex-Black Midi) joining on keys, White Lies signal a bold new era of sonic experimentation.
