Big Red Machine announce new album 'How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last?'

Following on from the release of their highly-praised self-titled debut LP in 2018, Big Red Machine, the collaborative project between Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and The National's Aaron Dessner, have now announced their plans for a new studio album, arriving in the coming months.

The new full-length 'How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last?' will feature guest performances from the likes of Taylor Swift, Ben Howard, Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold, Sharon Van Etten, This Is The Kit, and Naeem, is being previewed by the new Anaïs Mitchell collaboration 'Latter Days', and is set to be released on the 27th August via 37d03d.

Speaking about the new single, Dessner said, "It was clear to Anaïs that the early sketch Justin and I made of 'Latter Days' was about childhood, or loss of innocence and nostalgia for a time before you’ve grown into adulthood - before you’ve hurt people or lost people and made mistakes. She defined the whole record when she sang that, as these same themes kept appearing again and again."
