Following on from the success of their much-loved 2017 record 'Popular Manipulations', Philadelphia-based outfit The Districts are back to announce the details behind their next studio album.
The new full-length 'You Know I'm Not Going Anywhere' was self-produced by the band alongside frequent collaborator Keith Abrams, and mixed by Dave Fridmann, is being previewed by the new lead single 'Hey Jo', and is expected to be released on the 13th March via Fat Possum Records.
Speaking about their new offering, the band's Rob Wrote said, “This song is about relationships unfurling amidst the dysphoria of the modern world. We are all imperfect products of the natural world, and more specifically products of our own minds. This song was inspired by navigating how to be your best self and detach from what is destructive in you, to be something more perfect, gentle, and beautiful.”
