DZ Deathdays unveil new single 'Kerosene'

With their highly-anticipated new album out in just a few days, DZ Deathrays have now dropped the final cut lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Kerosene' comes accompanied by a brilliant new video, directed by Joe Agius, and follows on from the previously shared tracks ‘Golden Retriever’, ‘Make Yourself Mad’, ‘Fear The Anchor (feat. Ecca Vandal)’, ‘All Or Nothing’ and ‘Fired Up’ in previewing their fifth LP 'Positive Rising: Part 2', which is out this Friday 9th July via Alcopop! Records.

Speaking about the new offering, vocalist and guitarist Shane Parsons said, “‘Kerosene’ is all about this idea that we tend to spend so much time looking at other people and their lives and letting that dictate the trajectory of our own. Leaning into the ‘grass is always greener on the other side’ thing. Then the chorus flips around to say that you can be there waiting for others to figure out what they want to do, but just be ready to take on your own path when the time is right.”
