FKA Twigs tops Mercury Prize odds

Nominations for this year's Mercury Music Prize were announced last night (10th September), and it seems like FKA Twigs is already the bookies favourite to win the award.

The singer/producer's debut album 'LP1' is sitting pretty at the top of the Ladbrokes odds with 5/2 on, with Kate Tempest's 'Everybody Down' on 7/2, and the biggest selling album on the list, Royal Blood's self titled debut, is sitting at 4/1 so far.

Although the Mercury Prize is not best known for giving in to bookmaker's expectations, even this year's rank outsiders Polar Bear, GoGo Penguin and Nick Mulvey are still all at a respectable 20/1 on.
