Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?

Since I craft my music in my head, I put together playlists with all sorts of influences – vibes, drum sounds, vocal effects– to match the picture I'm painting in my mind. It's like creating a sonic roadmap that helps me bring my ideas to life when I'm ready to record.

What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a musician is experiencing that magical moment in the writing process when everything clicks into place and creativity begins to flow effortlessly. There's a unique joy in crafting music that I genuinely enjoy listening to and can’t wait to share with my friends and blast in the car, or play for my parents in the kitchen. Music is my love language and main source for my self-expression and connection to others.

And what is the most frustrating part?

One of the most frustrating parts of being a musician, especially as an indie artist, is the constant need to wear multiple hats. Beyond creating music, I often find myself chronically on social media, which can easily open a rabbit hole of anxiety and comparison, if I'm not careful.

And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?

Everyone is weird. If you're an artist, you’re probably really weird. So try not to overthink things.
