Having already cemented himself with a dazzling array of gems these last few years, Suffolk-based artist Loome continues his vibrant ascent once again with the captivating new single 'MARS'.
Capturing more of that rich and glittering alt-pop aesthetic he has been building for himself, 'MARS' makes for a stunning return to form for the artist at the helm. With his warm and shimmering vocal performance spread across an immersive production from start to finish, he is returning to the fold with one of his most passionate efforts to date.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with him to find out more about his origins and what has been inspiring him most lately.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
Electric Guitar - I can play what I feel and I can feel what I play, it’s a truly wonderful experience second only to singing.
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
Led Zeppelin and Nirvana but also Kanye, Linkin Park and Rihanna.
What was the first album you remember owning?
X&Y by Coldplay
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
That isn’t something I can answer. For me, songwriting is so nuanced and individual I can’t be jealous of any song I hear. It doesn’t belong to me, no matter how much I want it to. There have been songs in my career that I started and wish I could have finished, but they weren’t meant to be, so they weren’t.
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
If I’m on my own, I never sit down with the intention of writing. I never force it but I show up everyday just in case.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
It changes constantly but so far I have loved everything Holly Humberstone has released.
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
Coldplay - I’d even eat the vegan catering.
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
When people DM me and tell me that my song made them feel something.
And what is the most frustrating part?
How cold the social media feels and it uncompromising hold my career.
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
Not to take advice from someone you don’t want to be.
