Matt Maltese announces new album 'Good Morning It's Now Tomorrow'

Following on from the enormous praise behind his sophomore LP 'Krystal' in 2019, Matt Maltese has now announced his plans for a new studio album, arriving later this year.

The new full-length 'Good Morning It's Now Tomorrow' will include the previously shared effort 'Mystery', is being previewed by the new lead single 'Shoe', and is set to be released on the 8th October via Nettwerk.

Speaking about the new offering, he said, "It’s a sincere, slightly warped march in the name of love. I think that some of the most meaningful things can be both stupid and serious, and with 'Shoe' I’ve tried to walk that wire."

While adding about the album, "A lot of this [new] record is escapism. I’ve had to find more meaning out of the small parts of life. I want this record to celebrate the theatre in all the small things. It’s so cheesy to say it, but I think life is best when you try to make the ordinary extraordinary.

"It’s a real coping record. The pandemic made me very aware of the small things and the important things. It made the past feel even further away which is why I think the album is so hopeful. It made me realise which relationships and connections are real and a true source of joy. It made me latch onto those things more than ever."
