R.E.M. share unreleased Thom Yorke collaboration of 'E-Bow The Letter'

R.E.M. have announced their plans to release a new collection of rare and unreleased performances next month, and have now shared an exciting cut from their upcoming release.

Stepping in for Patti Smith on the original version of the 1996 single, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke took the reins on this new version of the single 'E-Bow The Letter', which was recorded at St James’ Church in London in 2004. The track is part of the new eight-disc boxset 'R.E.M. At The BBC', which is due out on the 19th October.
