After spending the last few months building and developing his sound, Norwegian singer-songwriter Stian Borgen is now ready to introduce himself to the wider world with his riveting debut single 'The Painter'.
Lifted from his soon-to-be-announced debut album, which is due out in the coming months, 'The Painter' makes for a wondrous introduction to his aesthetic so far. Channelling the same rich and illuminating folk-pop textures as acts like Bob Dylan, he is kicking things off with a wonderfully bright and infectious opening number here.
While it may be his only piece of new material to date, 'The Painter' shows that he already has a firm and confident grasp over his direction. With such a spellbinding approach to his songwriting throughout, we can't wait to hear what this new full-length has in store for us as well.
