Thurston Moore announces new solo album 'The Best Day'

Former Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore has announced that a new solo record is on the way.

'The Best Day' will be the fourth solo attempt from the vocalist and his first since the break up of Sonic Youth.

The album will also feature accompaniment from Sonic Youth’s Steve Shelley, My Bloody Valentine’s Debbie Googe and Chrome Hoof’s James Sedwards, and will be available to own from the 21st October.
