The Who confirmed as final headliner at Glastonbury

After months of rumours and speculation, The Who have been unveiled as the final headliner for this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The legendary band will close the festival as the headliner of the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday night, and will also be joined by Paul Weller who takes the penultimate set on the final day.

Frontman Roger Daltrey said, “It’s great to be ending this part of a 50 year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world. We’ll do our best to close this years event with a bang, unless of course the fireworks get wet!”

The Who will now join Foo Fighters and Kanye West as this year's headline acts when Glastonbury returns to Worthy Farm from the 24th-28th June. Visit http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk to see the line-up in full.
