Following on from the enormous success of their Mercury Prize-winning 2017 LP 'Visions Of A Life', Wolf Alice have now returned to announce the plans behind their next full-length, arriving in the coming months.
The new studio album 'Blue Weekend' is being previewed by the new lead single 'The Last Man On Earth', and is set to be released on the 11th June via Dirty Hit.
Speaking about the new offering, vocalist and guitarist Ellie Rowsell said, “It’s about the arrogance of humans. I’d just read Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle and I had written the line ‘Peculiar travel suggestions are dancing lessons from god’ in my notes. But then I thought: ‘Uh, your peculiar travel suggestion isn’t a dancing lesson from god, it’s just a travel suggestion! Why does everything need to mean something more?’”
