The Gaslight Anthem collaborate with Bruce Springsteen on 'History Books'

With their first studio album in almost a decade set to land later this year, The Gaslight Anthem have now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'History Books' sees them team up with Bruce Springsteen for the release, and follows on from the previously shared lead track 'Positive Charge' in previewing their new LP, also called 'History Books', which is set to be released on the 27th October via their own Rich Mahogany Recordings label via Thirty Tigers.

Speaking about the new offering, the band's “When Bruce Springsteen said I should write a duet for us, I think my head exploded. It will never get old to me that one of the greatest songwriters in the world, and one of my hero’s voices, will forever be captured in a song I wrote at a small wooden desk, in October, in New Jersey.”
