Having been almost completely silent since the release of their 2012 album 'Lex Hives', aside from a few live performances, The Hives have now returned with a brand new single.
The new track 'I'm Alive' is the band's first new material in seven years, is set to form part of a new full-length from the group, and will also receive an exclusive vinyl pressing through Jack White's Third Man Records label, arriving on the 7th June.
Speaking about their comeback, frontman Pelle Almqvist added, “'I’m Alive' is a song about crawling up from under a rock and obliterating all resistance that sounds like crawling up from under a rock and obliterating all resistance because it is a band crawling up from under a rock and obliterating all resistance. Use it in your own life to help you obliterate your own resistance!”
