Leonard Cohen dies, aged 82

Legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen has died, aged 82.

In a statement posted to his Facebook page, it reads, “It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter and artist, Leonard Cohen has passed away. We have lost one of music’s most revered and prolific visionaries.”

According to his son Adam, the musician died at his LA home having just released his 14th album, ‘You Want It Darker’, only last month.

While many of his songs have gone down as some of the greatest of all time, his song 'Hallelujah' is no doubt one of the most emotionally charged we have ever heard. Relive it again in the player below.
