In a statement left on their official website over the weekend, Mogwai have announced that guitarist their John Cummings has left the band.
According to the brief statement, Cummings left the group in order “to pursue his own musical projects”, but the group also say that they will be continuing as a four-piece with session musicians Scott Paterson and Luke Sutherland joining them on the live shows.
