Moose Blood - 'Blush'

7/10

Following up the moderate success of their debut full-length 'I'll Keep You In Mind, From Time To Time' in 2014, UK rock outfit Moose Blood have returned to deliver their second studio album 'Blush'. And while this album has many similar aspects to their first, it is clear that their sound has evolved into something bigger for what can sometimes be a difficult step in a band's career.

While the debut set out to create an introduction to the group, 'Blush' is most certainly the way the band prefer to be seen. With a more coherent direction and easy to predict path, this new release sees them more in their comfort zone, creating songs that fit their overall dynamic.

Fans may be critical of this follow-up, but overall shows a great level of growth since their debut. A cracking return for this underrated group, who we are sure will have plenty more to give in the years ahead.
