Vienna-based composer, violinist and multidisciplinary artist Alexander Nantschev has released ‘Vibrant Secrets’, the first glimpse of his forthcoming album 'Half A Century', a project marking both his 50th year and the completion of a creative journey that began with 'Selves' and continued through 'Your Star Smells Like Mine'.
Arriving as a richly layered and internationally crafted release, ‘Vibrant Secrets’ draws inspiration from themes of cosmic creation, transformation and the mysteries that exist beyond human perception. Built around delicate glockenspiel melodies and expressive vocal passages, the track gradually expands into a sweeping soundscape powered by pulsating rhythm sections, cinematic arrangements and an atmosphere that feels both intimate and immense.
The single reflects the global nature of Nantschev’s artistic vision. Recorded across multiple countries, the production brings together collaborators from Europe, Asia and the United States, resulting in a sound that transcends geographical and stylistic boundaries. The finished piece balances contemporary songwriting with orchestral grandeur, creating something that feels equally suited to reflective listening and widescreen cinematic moments.
With 'Half A Century' on the horizon, ‘Vibrant Secrets’ serves as an intriguing introduction to the album’s broader themes. Thoughtful, immersive and sonically adventurous, it finds Nantschev continuing to blur the boundaries between genres while exploring ideas that reach far beyond the everyday.
