It is considered the most desired music award in British music and now the Mercury Music Prize has unveiled their twelve picks for this year's ceremony.
Some of our favourite albums of the last year, including Jorja Smith, King Krule and Everything Everything have made the list, as well as some more obvious names such as Arctic Monkeys (pictured), Florence + The Machine, Wolf Alice and Lily Allen have also been given the nod.
The Mercury Music Prize will be awarded on the 20th September at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, and you can check out the full list of nominees below.
