ARTIST OF THE WEEK: No. 125 RedFaces

As 2016 turns into a distant memory, we find ourselves almost spoiled for choice when it comes to the new acts emerging at the start of this year. But already, it seems we have found ourselves with a young band set to take the UK's indie scene by storm.

Sheffield natives RedFaces have introduced themselves this month with their debut single 'Kerosene', and boy, is it a stomper. Having just signed themselves to RCA after working with Alan Smyth (the man behind early Arctic Monkeys material), the band's first official release is already set up to make waves for themselves in the months to come.

With its driving guitars and catchy vocals, 'Kerosene' has certainly set the band a very high bar, and one we are sure they are going to keep throughout the rest of the year.
