Despite only forming earlier this year, LA-based outfit RUSSO have quickly become a major talking point in the new music circles of late. After releasing their incredibly well-received single 'Ghost' earlier in the year, the band have broken the first milestone of their career by releasing their debut EP 'House With A Pool'.
With comparisons to the likes of Blondie and No Doubt, RUSSO have this incredibly well-balanced pop-rock sound that manages to maintain an alternative edge while remaining accessible at its core. The band have been previewing the new release with their latest track 'Loudmouth', a single that reflects their own influences in a strong and pulsing way.
Taking influences from a dancefloor-ready perspective, 'Loudmouth' has this driven and forceful energy to it that showcases the demeanour of the group in a perfect light. With a hint of a rebellious spirit to it, the track never goes too far in demanding to be heard but invites you in with its warm and enticing style.
