ARTIST OF THE WEEK: No. 61 Love Ssega

As we move towards the end of the year, more and more artists begin to emerge in order to create their campaigns for the year ahead. And for London-based singer Love Ssega, aka Ssegawa Kiwanuka, it looks like he is already well on his way to becoming the next big name in British music.

Some may already recognise the name after Ssega lent his voice to the Clean Bandit tracks 'Telephone Banking' and Mozart's House', but it has been his latest solo release, 'Minds', that has got the world talking about.

Having already gained regular airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Beats 1, as well as named as one of Noisey's Tracks Of The Month, 'Minds' is already proving to be the breakthrough single most artists dream of, and with its funky bassline and soulful vocals, makes quite a impact for the young vocalist.

'Minds' is due to appear on Ssega's debut EP, coming soon via Hometown Records / Sony, and you can check it out in the player below.
