Having already exploded on TikTok these last few months with her catchy and engaging material, as well as her breakthrough cuts ‘Average Student’ and ‘Haters’, 18-year-old Southampton-based artist Caity Baser has now returned with her powerful new offering 'Slut Shaming'.
Produced by Future Cut, the production team behind Lily Allen’s ‘Smile’, 'Slut Shaming' sets itself as an ode to female empowerment, while also delivering a smooth and captivating groove throughout. With its retro hooks and soulful swagger, this new effort is also set to appear on her forthcoming mixtape 'Lil CB', which is out on the 2nd July.
Speaking about the new release, she added, “Slut shaming is about embracing ur body and doing whatever the frick u want with it no matter what anyone else says. Cuz at the end of the day it's yours!!!! So many people get shamed upon for doing things that make them feel good and I am not here for it so I hope this song gives people the confidence to do what they want when they want with WHOOO they want”.
