After originally establishing herself with a flurry of EP and single releases, including last year's breakthrough efforts ‘Nineteen’, ‘You’re Not Harry Styles’, and ‘No Romeo’, fast-rising artist Dylan has now returned with her infectiously catchy new gem 'Girl Of Your Dreams'.
Newly signed to Island Records, 'Girl Of Your Dreams' sees her explode onto the major label with a bright and energetic pop-rock belter, brimming with fresh and exciting hooks. Premiered on Jack Saunders’ BBC Radio 1 ‘Future Artists’ show in the Power Play slot last night (14th July), she is clearly looking to fill some big stages and stadiums with this one.
Speaking about the new release, she said, “Girl of Your Dreams is very simple and straight to the point. The day I wrote it, I was feeling a lot of frustration towards someone who sadly had absolutely no interest in me. Ultimately, they hadn’t done anything wrong, so instead of writing a “screw you” song, I wrote a “want me!” song."
