Having already made a name for herself as the lead singer of BROODS in recent years, Georgia Nott now looks to cement her recent solo project Georgia Gets By with the announcement of her debut EP 'Fish Bird Baby Boy'.
Featuring the previously shared outing 'Easier To Run', the new five-track collection is being previewed by the stunning new lead single 'Happiness Is An 8 Ball'. Establishing the new venture as a more atmospheric and woozy endeavour, this new release highlights some of the more tender qualities in her solo work, and adds another immersive layer to her progressive catalogue to date.
Adding about the new EP, she said, “After years working collaboratively as BROODS, I wanted to start a project that could be wholly about my experiences... I’m always making music to combat, you know, life,. As I was writing these songs, I was opening old wounds."
Georgia Gets By's debut EP 'Fish Bird Baby Boy' is out on the 6th October via Luminelle Recordings, and you can watch the new Silken Weinberg-directed video for 'Happiness Is An 8 Ball' in the player below.
