London’s False Reality return with 'Reality Slips', a visceral new single and video that marks the first glimpse into their long-awaited debut album 'Faded Intentions', out on the 14th November via Hassle Records.
Rooted in the intensity of UK beatdown and sharpened by influences ranging from Metallica to Deftones, 'Reality Slips' captures the emotional whiplash of watching someone unravel beyond your reach. Blending thrash-fuelled riffs with spacey, dissociative hooks, the track balances unrelenting fury with haunting atmosphere, a reflection of helplessness in the face of self-destruction.
The accompanying video, created with longtime collaborator Richy Unsworth, mirrors this tension through disorienting visuals and layered symbolism. “It presents an inability to change what’s happening around you, and a loss of control,” the band explains.
