After following up his highly-praised 2021 debut album 'Golden Country' with the much-loved outings 'At Once' and 'Space Between' in recent months, Nashville-based artist JJ Schrick aka The Atomic Age has now returned once again to deliver his soaring new single 'Staring At The Sun'.
Channelling more of that psych-rock-infused direction he has become synonymous with of late, 'Staring At The Sun' makes for a beautifully rich and alluring listen. With his broad and sprawling voice layered across a spacey production from start to finish, he is continuing to cement himself as one of the more innovative names on the scene today.
While he has certainly brought a bold and imaginative approach to his sound in recent years, 'Staring At The Sun' shows that he is still brimming with fresh and exciting ideas in which to explore. With such a firm and confident grasp over his direction throughout, he is definitely one to keep a strong eye on for the months ahead as well.
