After returning earlier this year to share the new singles 'Queendom' and 'Forgotten Love', AURORA has now released her second studio album out of nowhere.
The new full-length 'Infections of A Different Kind - Step 1' is one half of a double album from the Bergen-based artist, and was recorded in a fairytale studio/chateau in the south of France alongside production duo MyRiot.
“There’s a deeper understanding of myself and what I want to say and do than on my first album. It’s more tuned into my soul and who I am,” explains the frontwoman. “It’s about the many, many different aspects of what it is to be human. It covers the way we hurt and we love and the way we are so beautiful but also so awful.”
“The world has become really quite chaotic. I think it’s good for us. It’s good to get tastes of this chaos so we can understand the places where it happens all the time better.”
