Prague punk outfit The Black Biles come charging out of the gates with ‘I’m Good (But I’m Better When I’m Bad)’, the brilliantly titled opening track from debut EP 'Free Yourself'.
Fast, raw and loaded with attitude, the single introduces a band built around the simple pleasure of punk rock played without restraint. Its rebellious spirit also taps directly into the EP's wider obsession with rejecting expectations, questioning outside control and deciding for yourself exactly how life should be lived.
‘I’m Good (But I’m Better When I’m Bad)’ was recorded at Royal Records in Prague before being mixed by Fredy Guillermo at Gafat Records in Guatemala, retaining plenty of live-room roughness.
Rowdy, mischievous and defiantly unpolished, it's exactly the kind of introduction punk should make.
