After originally breaking through with their stunning initial efforts 'Walk Away' and 'Limbo' back in 2020, Newcastle-based outfit Blackout The Arcade now make their eagerly-awaited return with their vibrant comeback single 'Side-by-Side'.
Capturing more of that bright and euphoric indie-rock aesthetic they first emerged with, 'Side-by-Side' makes for a rousing return to form for the four-piece. Filled with broad and immersive textures, a soaring atmosphere, and mesmerising hooks layered throughout, they are returning to the fold with their most captivating cut to date here.
While it may have arrived after a three-year break from new material, 'Side-by-Side' shows that they are still brimming with fresh and rapturous ideas in which to explore. With such a strong and confident grasp over their direction throughout, we can't wait to hear what else they have been working on during their time away as well.
