Bleach Lab return with 'Close To The Flame', the sweeping title-track from their upcoming EP, out on the 18th July on 10” vinyl. Drawing inspiration from Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine, the track blends shoegaze haze with soaring indie-rock, as Jenna Kyle’s vocals shimmer over layers of reverb and texture.
“It’s about an all-consuming relationship,” Jenna explains, “where you’re so obsessed with someone you almost want to become them.” With its cinematic feel and emotional weight, 'Close To The Flame' captures the end-scene energy of a coming-of-age film.
Following recent singles 'Indigo' and 'All Night', Bleach Lab continue to refine their sound while pushing deeper into emotional territory, offering another stunning glimpse into one of the UK’s most exciting rising acts.
