Block returns with 'Over And Over', the second single from his forthcoming sixth album 'Love Crash', arriving this May via Meridian (ECR Music Group). The track follows the success of lead single 'I Thought I Won The War', which delivered record-breaking streams for the label and secured placement on Apple Music’s New In Alternative playlist.
Produced by Chris Kuffner (Ingrid Michaelson, Regina Spektor) and mixed and mastered by Blake Morgan (Lenny Kravitz, Lesley Gore), 'Over And Over' finds Block at his most exposed. Written during an intense personal period, the song confronts his lifelong struggle with OCD, with much of its lyrics, melody, and instrumentation captured in a single day at a Brooklyn studio.
A key figure in the late-90s New York anti-folk movement, Block has built a career defined by candour and craft. With recent deluxe reissues of his catalogue reigniting interest and drawing over half a million streams, anticipation is building for 'Love Crash', a record Block describes as a hard-won climb out of darkness.
